Blink has been thrown through the portal between Earth-295 and the Negative Zone, which was opened by Blastaar's men in order to negotiate with Apocalypse to form an Alliance. She has lost her memory.She finds herself held at gunpoint by a strange man who calls himself Ahmyor. Blink attempts to defend herself and the two trade blows before a lava quake forces them both to flee on Ahmyor's trusty stede Marcul. Ahmyor, learning of Blink's memory loss, tells her of haunting visions of a tortured leader who was defeated by "four blue-clad interlopers" (vaguely depicted as the Fantastic Four) and ever since the land has been plagued by the tyrannical forces of Blastaar's troops. Clarice is recovering her memories slowly, with visions of her world remembering a one-handed warrior that helped her ( weapon x).After saving a group of people being attacked by Blastaar's troops, Ahymor reveals his desire to topple Blastaar and re-instate Annihilus (the previous mentioned fallen leader) as leader of the Negative Zone.
